All accommodation in Mungo National Park (campgrounds and Shearer's Quarters) will be closed from 2pm Saturday 8 August 2026 to 2pm Tuesday 11 August 2026 due to predicted wet weather.
This closure may be further extended pending local conditions.

Council-managed access roads to Mungo National Park are unsealed and in variable condition. Before travelling on any unsealed roads, please check road condition reports for Balranald, Wentworth and Central Darling Shires. Do not travel on closed Council roads.
