Closed areas: Wamberal Lagoon Nature Reserve intermittent closures for fox and rabbit control shooting operation
Parts of Wamberal Lagoon Nature Reserve will be closed within a date range of 6:30am Monday 20th July 2026 to 11:00pm Tuesday 20th July 2027 for fox and rabbit control shoot operations preventing localised economic impacts and protecting biodiversity assets within the park.
When active the shoot operation area will be delignated by signage advising visitors “do not enter” at any time during the night-time operation.
Penalties apply for non-compliance.
