Getting there and parking
Get driving directions
Wambelong Nature walking track starts at Canyon picnic area in the central precinct of Warrumbungle National Park. To get there:
From Coonabarabran:
- Travel along John Renshaw Parkway from Coonabarabran
- Upon entering the park, take the turn-off to the visitor centre
- Continue along the road past the visitor centre to Canyon picnic area.
From Tooraweenah:
- Follow the signs east to Warrumbungle National Park, following John Renshaw Parkway
- Upon entry into the park, continue along John Renshaw Parkway
- Take the turn-off to the visitor centre
- Continue along the road past the visitor centre to Canyon picnic area.
Parking
Parking is available at Burbie Canyon carpark.
