This guided tour lets curious kids and nature-loving families discover Killalea’s fascinating landscape, from coastal farmland to beaches and bush. Over 2 hours of exploration, kids will go on a scavenger hunt, follow clues and discover how local plants, animals and people are all connected.
They will learn real NSW national park ranger skills. Navigate using maps, explore coastal habitats and uncover the stories hidden in the land. Find out how waves and ocean conditions shape the coastline, then get creative with nature-based activities investigating wildlife and the environment up close.
This junior ranger experience is a great way for kids aged 5 to 12 to build confidence, learn new skills and connect with nature.
