Join a Discovery ranger on this bird-focused guided stroll through Dorrigo National Park’s incredible rainforest. You’ll learn about the flock of diverse local birds, including how to interpret their calls and understand their behavioural quirks. This experience is all about the joy of spending time with our ancient rainforest songbirds.

You’ll search the skies for soaring wedge-tailed-eagles or grey goshawks. Across the rainforest canopy you could see regent bowerbirds, golden whistlers or wompoo fruit-doves. Keep an eye out for green catbirds, pale-yellow robins or paradise riflebirds in the midstory. In the understory, you might spy superb lyrebirds, yellow-throated scrubwrens or eastern whipbirds. Dorrigo National Park is a bird paradise!

This tour is great for adults and children aged 5 years and over, from birdwatching novices through to serious birders. Bring binoculars if you have them.
