Overview

Mobbs Swamp campground is a remote, walk-in camping spot with no vehicle access. It's a popular overnight stay for experienced hikers doing the Kanangra to Katoomba walk (K2K).

The most popular route to get to Mobbs Swamp campground is a challenging 4 hour (12km) walk from Green Gully via Mitchells Creek Fire Trail.

There is a non-flush toilet. Water is not available.

Bookings are not required for this campground.  

It's a good idea to let someone know where you're going. Fill in a trip intention form to send important details about your trip to your emergency contact. Hire a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) for free at Blue Mountains Heritage Centre in Blackheath.
